Swim Registration

A $40 registration fee is charged for each child joining the swim or dive team not to exceed $100 per family. The fee for joining both the swim and dive team is $50 per child also not to exceed $100 per family. All parents must register their child(ren) if they will be participating on the teams. Please submit the online form and waiver as soon as possible. This waiver assures your child’s fitness to participate and is required by the management of the club in order to comply with current insurance requirements. For those forms returned by Monday, May 27 (Memorial Day), swimmers will receive a personalized long-sleeve T-shirt. For those forms returned after that date, swimmers will receive a non-personalized long-sleeve T-shirt. All forms must be submitted by Monday, June 10. Any questions, can be submitted to nomocoach@gmail.com.

Swim Team Parent Volunteers

In order to run a swim meet, we need many parent volunteers to help out. There are a variety of jobs available, most of which require no experience so don’t be intimidated. And what better way to cheer your child on?

As a member of the team, one parent will be required to work a minimum of three (3) swim meets plus the championship meet. Possible jobs include:

Announcer – announcing the events
Official – ensuring that all swimmers are using legal strokes, starts, turns, and finishes (this is the only job that requires training - see below)
Across-the-Board – calling the order in which swimmers finish/place
Scoring – calculating the score of the meet
Averaging – circling the middle time
Timer – using a stopwatch to time the races
Writer – writing down times
Runner – carrying timing slips to the scoring table
Ribbons – writing out ribbons for our younger swimmers
