Dues and Related Charges (Effective 2024)

Payment is due in full and must be postmarked no later than March 1, 2024

ANNUAL DUES:

Standard Membership:

First Member (must be a bondholder): $1,300
Second Member (regardless of age): $550
Additional Members: $160
All members on an account must reside in the same household. Children 2 and under are free.

Senior Citizen Special Rate Membership:

Senior Citizen (65+): $860
Senior Citizen Spouse: $320
A maximum of two people, senior citizen & spouse, are allowed. Only one member must be 65+. For consideration, submit a request to the office and provide proof of age.

Leave of Absence: $200.00

A leave of absence entitles the bond to use the Club’s facilities four times per season, paying existing guest fees. Members on a leave of absence may not bring guests to the Club and may not be the guest of another member. Those on a leave of absence must relinquish their cabana.

Cabana:  $150

Cabana dues for those who are assigned a cabana and wish to keep it for the upcoming season.

Late Payment Penalties:

  1. A $200.00 fee will be imposed for any dues payment submitted online or postmarked after March 1, 2024.

  2. Members who have not made their dues payment in full, including the late payment fee, online or postmarked by March 15, 2024will be expelled. (By Laws, Article IX.3.b)

FIRST YEAR MEMBERSHIP:

In additional to the applicable Annual fees above, new member must also pay the following: 

Initiation Fee

$500.00 – payable upon admission to the membership to the Club.

Certificate of Indebtedness

$1,400 - to be purchased upon admission to membership in the Club and is redeemable upon termination of membership.


DAILY GUEST FEE:

$10.00 per day

The number of guests that may be introduced to the Club on any one day by an adult voting member is limited to 10 (ten) persons, except with the prior approval of the Board.  Members ages 13 – 17 may bring one guest (aged 13 or older) when not accompanied by an adult member; those aged 12 and under may not introduce a guest to the Club without an adult member present.  The member must remain at the Club for the duration of their guests’ visit.

HOUSE GUESTS:

$50 per week
$400 for the season

The Board may, upon written request of a voting member, extend to a house guest of such member who resides more than fifty (50) miles from the Club’s facilities, the privileges of the Club, for such a period, and upon such terms and conditions as the Board may from time to time determine. Houseguests may only attend the Club when the voting member is present.

CAREGIVERS:

A completed caregiver application must be submitted and approved by the Board of Governors.

Seasonal caregiver: $350.00 when submitted before June 1, 2024 and is increased to $400 when submitted on or after June 1, 2024.  A family may register one seasonal caregiver per season.

Temporary caregiver: $15/day. Each family may register up to two temporary caregivers during the season.  Their attendance at the club is limited to a combined total of ten days per season. 

Seasonal and temporary caregivers: 

  • will be admitted into the Club only when accompanied by the minor(s), or person with disability under their care. 

  • are not permitted to bring in guests of their own but ARE permitted up to three (3) guests in total for the minors under their care (aged 12 and under).

MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION FEE:

$200 non-refundable application fee, even if the applicant withdraws. 

Upon completion and return of the membership application along with Letters of Recommendation from two (2) current members of good standing applicants and payment of the fee, applicants will be placed on the waiting list. 

RESIGNATIONS:

Those wishing to resign from the Club should fill out the resignation intent form on the website or email info@nomahegan.net. A subsequent written letter of intent with an original ink signature along with the Certificate of Indebtedness is to be mailed to the P.O. Box and postmarked by March 1, 2024. Unless the resignation is received in accordance with the above, the resigning member will be obligated to the Club for one-half of the active dues for the forthcoming season, which will be deducted from their bond refund.
